Clarity for what comes next
We help people navigate major life transitions involving their home. Often, our clients know something needs to change, whether they’re downsizing, moving to senior living, or dealing with a home that’s become difficult to manage. Figuring out what needs to happen is the part that can feel overwhelming.
A home decision is rarely just about the property. There may be family dynamics, financial considerations, or simply uncertainty about where to begin. Steady Road brings a neutral, experienced perspective to the conversation, helping you understand your options, create a roadmap, and move forward at the pace that makes sense for you.

What services does Steady Road offer?
Every situation is different. We help you understand your options and manage the next steps.
That may mean preparing and listing your home for sale, coordinating repairs or clean outs, finding ways to remain in your home (any financing is provided only through Executive Mortgage Brokers), or selling the home to us as is. When timing matters, we can close in as little as two weeks.

Over the years, Genevieve has learned that these decisions are rarely just about a house. Every situation is different, and sometimes people need more than a real estate agent. They need someone who will listen, help them understand their options, and create a clear roadmap for what comes next. That experience and perspective are at the heart of Steady Road.
Outside of work, Genevieve is a proud mom to one son and grandmother to four grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring new places whenever she can.
What our clients have said
Calm through a stressful move
“Genevieve was so detailed every step of the way. She wears many hats and does it with ease. We couldn't have asked for a better transition. We had high anxiety in general and adding moving from a house to a condominium (down sizing) added to it (in our minds) Genevieve calmed our minds. She may be a Therapist as well! Hats off to you Jenny! We love you!”
Responsive and trustworthy
“Genevieve made the process of buying our first home fun and exciting! She alleviated all anxieties we had because of her commitment to finding a home within our budget and needs, her responsiveness and how trustworthy and friendly she is. We will be working with her forever for all of our housing searches!”
Is Steady Road right for you?
We work with homeowners and the people helping them navigate what comes next. Often, a medical issue, fall, or change in health means returning home may no longer be the safest or most practical option. Other times, a home has simply become difficult to manage, or a move or downsizing is being considered.
Whatever the circumstances, we understand these decisions can come unexpectedly and may feel overwhelming. Our role is to help families understand their options and create a clear path forward without pressure.

We can help if
- You need access to funds quickly. When timing matters, we can close in as little as two weeks.
- A home has become more than you or a loved one can comfortably manage.
- You are helping a loved one from a distance, or balancing their needs with work and family.
- The home needs to be emptied, cleaned, repaired, or prepared for sale (or some combination of those), and you need help coordinating it.
- You need help finding a new home for your loved one and/or need support moving them.
- You want to understand your options before making a decision.
You’re carrying a lot right now. Let us carry some of it.
We take on the calls, the coordination and the to-do list.
Want to discuss your options first?
Answer four simple questions and we’ll help you see which paths may fit your situation. It takes about a minute, there’s no cost, and you can decide if and when you’d like to talk with us.
Questions families ask us
Is the first conversation really free?
Yes. There is no cost and no obligation, and we do not ask for anything beyond a phone number and an email address to arrange it.
Will you pressure my loved one?
Never. We will not push a decision, and we will not ask to speak to your loved one alone. If at any point you want us to stop contacting you, say so once.
What if I’m not sure I want to move?
That’s okay. You don’t have to decide whether to move before talking with us. Staying in your home may be one of the options we explore. Our role is to help you understand what’s possible so you can decide what feels right for you.
What if my brothers and sisters don't agree?
That is common, and it is worth sorting before anything else. We can lay out the options in plain terms so everyone is looking at the same information. What we will not do is take one family member's side, or help persuade someone who does not want to sell.
What happens to the information I give you?
We treat the information you share with care and discretion. It is used to help us understand your situation, prepare for our conversation, and provide the services you request. More information about how personal information is handled will be available in our Privacy Policy.
What if we’re not ready to make a decision?
That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out before talking with us. In fact, understanding your options early can make the process much easier when the time comes. We can help you understand what paths are available, answer your questions, and give you a roadmap, without any pressure to make a decision before you’re ready.
